It covers 11 miles (18 km) of track along the Greenbrier River from Cass to Durbin, paralleling West Virginia Route 2. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The dramatic gorge, woods, and river make the area famous for hikers. The park also includes a portion of the summit of Bald Knob.
